Disneyland

Yes, Disneyland was a blast! But 5 days is way too long to spend there. We arrived in Anaheim on Saturday, and went to Disneyland on Saturday night, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Our fabulous hotel was right across the street from the park, so we headed over each morning, rode rides, ate lunch, etc. We went back to our hotel each afternoon and took naps or read, etc, and ate sandwiches for dinner. Then it was back to the park for the evening when it was a little less crowded. Absolutely perfect (except for the weather - it was overcast and a little chilly). Here are some highlights:

Here we are driving cars. We seriously went on almost literally EVERYTHING there, minus some of the kiddie rides. We still even went on some of those, too! (The Pinocchio ride broke down while we were on it.) Some favorites include Space Mountain and Indiana Jones and the Matterhorn. But really, how can you not love them all!

We loved California Adventure. It had some of our favorite rides, including California Screamin', Soarin' California, Tower of Terror and Midway Mania. Oh, and our favorite show It's Tough to Be a Bug!

My one picture of the characters. We were not about to wait in line to get our pictures taken with them!
And we had to buy one souvenir photo. Mike planned for it. I just look like a dork.

Tom Sawyer's Island was pretty cool. What would be even cooler would be having Jack Sparrow wander around it!

We were all Disneyed out on Wednesday, so we just ate a leisurely breakfast before heading to the beach and San Diego. We only stayed at Newport Beach for about an hour because it was so windy.
Coming soon: (like after we do them) Highlights from San Diego, including Sea World and the San Diego Zoo!

I am such a ride wimp. I don't know if it would be worth it for us to go to Disneyland! I'm pretty sure I would be the person waiting at the bottom of the ride with the bags and stroller. :) It looks like you guys had a fun time though!

Disneyland is perfect for ride wimps! Most of the rides are pretty mellow.

Did I miss something here? Isn't there like only 2 weeks of school left and you are partying it up on California?

Oh you didn't miss anything! The was the only time Mike could get off work, so I took a week off.
