Sea World
It was really great to have an adventure that did not include Disney characters. As much as I loved Disneyland, I was excited to move on. Sea World has some amazing shows! I would say they were worth the ticket alone (but ours were free with our hotel booking so it was even more worth it!). We knew we didn't want to miss the Shamu show, and I am so glad we saw it! We sat in the "soak zone," so I was afraid we were going to get wet. (In case you didn't know, I absolutely hate getting my clothes wet while I am wearing them. I refuse to ride Splash Mountain at Disneyland or the Rattlesnake Rapids at Lagoon because the thought of walking around with soggy pants and a dripping shirt creeps me out.) Luckily for me, we didn't even feel a drop.
It just amazes me how the trainers can get the animals to do so many complicated tricks when we can barely get our dogs to sit, let alone stay! In the Pet's Rule show they had animals like dogs, cats, ducks and even pigs doing tricks! The Sea Lions Live show had the sea lions, otters and a walrus doing their own versions of popular TV shows like CSI, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, and Survivor.
I love the hands on experiences, like petting rays and starfish,

and feeding seals and flamingos. Those seals sure were hungry! One of them kept waving and barking like he was yelling at everyone to feed him.

All in all, very much worth the free ticket. :-)
