I got to wear my cute new sequined tank under a baby blue cardigan to church today. (Wearing cute clothes is always one of the highlights of church.) When Mike first saw it he promptly remarked that it looked like a kid threw up sequins all over it, but I think it is growing on him.

Mission Farewell
Mike and I went up to Salt Lake today for the mission farewell for a friend of Mike's from work. Of course, Mike forgot to tell me about it until this morning, so thankfully it was at 1:00. We finally managed to find the church after winding through the strange suburbs of South Salt Lake, only to arrive at the strangest church building I have ever seen! It had to be over one hundred years old. We walked in the back door of the building and wandered around for about 5 minutes trying to find the chapel. We finally figured out that it was upstairs! Apparently the back entrance is in the basement, and all the classrooms were built underneath the chapel. That sacrament meeting featured a mission farewell as well as a homecoming. So C.J. is heading to the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia Spanish speaking mission. (It will be funny to see the half black guy saying "bro," "dude," and "I love you man" through the entire talk speaking Spanish.) The other dude just got home from the Washington Tacoma mission, so that hit kind of close to home with me. Because of these two elders and the amount of visitors, we were sitting halfway back in the gym and there were still rows of people behind us. It was packed! We have also never seen so many beautiful people and such short skirts in one church building in our lives. Must be Salt Lake for ya. We enjoyed sacrament meeting and the feeling tone they had in their ward. It was much more spiritual than our ward on a good day.

VERY cute
Love the tank. Screaming children don't set the spiritual tone for you? lol :)
