All the newspapers have articles on it, blogs are raving with pictures and counting down the dates until the opening of the movie. It's just a movie people! It could be that I hated the Twilight movie. They can't act, the directing was terrible, and we laughed when it was supposed to be a serious moment. The movie wasn't worth the hype. I know some of you loved it, and I am sorry, but I speak the truth. I only hope the money Twilight made does New Moon better justice. (Because of course I will go see it at some point in time. Probably not opening night like last time, but I will go see it.)

New Moon Mania?
Is it just me, or do you think the whole Twilight/New Moon thing is a little over the top? Don't get me wrong, I am one of the biggest fans of the Twilight books you can find, but the intense media frenzy is getting to me a little. I mean, we have got Robert Pattinson on Volvo commercials because he happens to drive that car in the movie. I was at the grocery store and found Team Edward (mint) and Team Jacob (raspberry) corresponding truffle bars. (I didn't mind helping myself to one of them - yummy.)

I agree the media hype is way over the top and that the first movie wasn't as great as I expected. However, I loved the books so much I am willing to give New Moon the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully I will get to see it sometime soon.
Totally agree with you. I love, love, loved the books, but the movie? To me, it was like an after school special. Terrible. No emotion whatsoever. I do, however, love the line "Hold on, spider monkey." That's just awesome. It was the best and funniest part of the movie for me.
So which was better? Jacob Truffle or Edward Truffle?

It was definitely a comical movie! The Jacob one is raspberry. For me, the Edward truffle was better because I love mint truffles.
That is too funny. I am afraid I am among the crazy teens tomorrow night getting into an early showing of New Moon. And I will probably scream and get all jittery lol. I am really really hoping that New Moon is better than Twilight, the commercials seem to give that depiction. Guess I'll find out.

I have a friend who knows the right people apparently. And the reason she thought of me is because I'm an insane Twilight series fan. I make people laugh on a regular basis apparently. I think I may have screamed once or twice. :)
I think you would be fun to go to the movie with - just to laugh at!
