I had forgotten the rib bones we threw in there from dinner on Sunday. Zoe's serious sniffer smelled them out and went to great lengths to get those bones. I found her in the corner under the end table laying on the bone, growling, not willing to give up that bone. We learned that they can officially gnaw on beef bones, but not pork or chicken because they can chew and swallow pieces of those bones.
We also had our Poetry Night, the final big after school event of the year. We made it a cowboy night and read our poems around the campfire. I had the students create all the decorations and I was pretty impressed by the fire they came up with!
