Day 193: Friday, May 22 - Library Field Trip

When we reach the end of the year, we run out of things to do. Everything has been taught, testing is over, and the students are rambunctious. We desperately need more things to fill our time! So, we go the the local public library to learn about the summer reading program. We are lucky enough to have our school within walking distance of the library, so we walk down to the library and eat lunch at the city park across the street. I love this room in the library - it is full of chairs, couches, and bean bag chairs for the kids to sit on during story time and puppet shows.
