Day 141: Wednesday, April 1 - No Foolin' Here

Zoe had her first experience with a printer. Who knew dogs were scared of them? She would not stop barking at it. It could also have something to do with the "Get it Zoe!" we kept yelling at her after she started barking.

I also spent the entire evening watching a 4 part mini series called Lost in Austen. Modern romantic Amanda Price was in so in love with Pride and Prejudice she would cancel on her boyfriend just to read the novel. She ends up trading places with Elizabeth Bennett. It sets the entire book askew and nothing happens the way it should. (Although I have read many Pride and Prejudice type books, such as Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict, Me and Mr. Darcy, and Austenland, and I blame Heidi for watching this. Her blog intrigued me into watching Jane Austen modern miniseries'.) It was pretty freaking hilarious in an entirely British sort of way. My favorite scene is here in this clip. (The truly great part happens about 55 seconds into the clip. Just think Colin Firth in the BBC movie.)

Haha, our cats are terrified of the printer too! They can't bark, but they bolt away from it or swat at the papers coming out of it. And that mini series sounds neat!
