Day 140: Tuesday, March 31 - And the Word of the Day Is...

Sugar nipples! Apparently a third grader taught my cute eight-year-olds this phrase and they started calling each other, and every other member of our class, sugar nipples. I didn't find out until a sweetheart of a student got offended and tattled on them. What a wonderful phrase. I am sure their mothers will love that term of endearment.

On a brighter note, I bought the most recent installment to the Fablehaven series today! I can't believe I missed the memo on the release date. Mike has already claimed dibs on it, so I will probably get it just in time for the plane ride to New York City next week! If you haven't read them, you should. One of my favorite book series's written for children. Both the boys and girls in my class loved it last year, and that's a rarity. It's a keeper!
