1. The bigger the bite, the easier it goes down. (Strange, I know.) This is hard for an extremely slow eater like me. This only works for liquids and non-solid foods. All the other types never go down easily.
2. After a night of sweating, trying to rid my body of a fever that never seems to go away, I really stink. Thank goodness for showers!
3. True friends will help out in a pinch. If Leslie wasn't around, my sub would have floundered. She really helped me with my sub plans. Okay, she mostly wrote my sub plans for me. I actually forgot to add the attachment on Tuesday and she didn't even call me to wake me up for them. Now that's a true friend.
4. I learned the importance of being prepared for each school day the night before and each week the week before.
5. It is important to take a short nap after doing major chores, like putting food in a crock pot. Things like that take a lot out of a person. However, the orange-apricot pork chops were definitely worth the effort.
6. It is hard to print papers without a printer. When the infrequent occasion arises, I usually print them at work. Didn't have that today. Truly, thanks for letting us use your printer, Britney! I almost had to take my sickly self to Kinko's!
