I am so amazed at how creative the
Item #1 - The Valentine cards themselves. It's no longer all about the store bought Justin Bieber and iCarly cards. One student gave out baggies of Rolo's with the saying, "I like the way you "ROLL"! Another student's mother used her picture and digital scrapbook paper to create her own "You're Toadally Cute" Valentines. Then there was the 3D cricut cut out of Kung Fu Panda on a background saying "I'm Wild About You Valentine" with a sucker and kisses stapled to it.
Item #2 - The hair. Heart braids, purple gel, pink spray paint. You name it, I saw it.
Item #3 - The gifts. This isn't student related. It's my gift for Mike. And I am proud of my creativity. Or at least my ability to take items friends find on pinterest and use them to my advantage. We aren't celebrating Valentine's Day until Friday due to Mike's work and school schedule, but I just had to share my own personal creativity. He doesn't read this blog or look at Facebook so these pictures won't spoil the surprise.
I am also making homemade creme brulee. Impressed yet?

I am very impressed. (I think I recognize those cards :) Way cute! I love the heart hair. I want to know how to do that. Were you able to figure it out?

And thanks for the card and gift.

Wow, my last comment had a million typos (typing on the iPad). Let's try this again....I really miss holidays in the classroom. It looks like pinterest is making things even more interesting than ever. P.S. I made the same thing for Braden :)
