This week I decided to try and get a picture of Zoe and me. She didn't have much fun.
On Tuesday night the pilot light on the water heater went out three times. Mike didn't have any hot water for his shower on Wednesday morning so he relit the pilot light in the hopes it would actually stay lit this time. You can only imagine my excitement when I came back from the gym and saw that little flickering flame.
We got a magnetic calendar to record our daily chores so that
The herb garden has sprouts and leaves!!
On Thursday we did reading testing and got to out to lunch as per the uge. We got one of the ultimate best gingerbread cookies on the planet with our lunch. They were so good that I went back on Saturday to buy some to take to a friend I was visiting. (And to get a picture of them because I forgot to take one at the time.) To my dismay they were out and won't have them back until next Christmas! I had to settle for regular sugar cookies. Imagine these (almost as delicious) sugar cookies with a brown gingerbread base and red, white and brown sprinkles.
Four day weekend! Wahoo! Mike and I went to Red Lobster for lunch. I was craving a little snow crab. While we were waiting for our food the wait staff sang happy birthday to the 90 year old woman in the booth behind Mike. They asked her if she wanted to hold the lobster for her picture and she refused. I think they heard me say, "I'll hold it!" because they brought it over for us to hold after they finished singing. We had a little staring contest. He has cool eyes.
We shared the giant seafood platter. I joked that we shouldn't play with our food before eating it.
These are the cookie friend's girls. I hadn't seen my friend Carrie in awhile so I brought cookies to her and her girls. They are just darling. Anything Katie did Abbie just had to do too! I even got to be the queen for the day.
Kiersten and I shopping on Saturday for an outfit for her to go dancing in.
This week in scrapbooking:

I like Kiersten's look, she looks so thin. I don't like that Mike looks like he's in a lot of pain.
