We wanted to do something fun with our local extended family and decided on a camping trip to Moab. This morning was our adventure's kickoff! We were a little concerned with the weather, especially due to the snow we received yesterday. But since we were traveling 3 hours south, we thought we might have a chance. And lucky we got! The weather was beautiful and we actually took off our hoodies. After an amazing pizza lunch at Zax, where the honey barbecue chicken pizza ruled the feast, we checked into our cabin.
And went on our first hike to Delicate Arch at Arches National Park. I was excited to get my hike on. It was a little chilly, but we were fine with our hoodies and jackets.

We left Delicate Arch in the daylight, but it was actually completely
dark by the time we reached the parking lot. Perfect timing. Just
right to grill some sausage dogs on the grill and eat some s'mores. Too
bad everyone was tired and wanted to go to bed around 11. Me? I was
wide awake. For just a few minutes though before I conked out.
