Day 61 - August 30, 2011

I like my life to be fairly scheduled and predictable. My classroom is on a daily schedule. I go running on Saturdays. Monday is laundry day. Well Tuesday is grocery shopping day. Every time I go I chat with a friend of mine from my master's program. (The life of a male teacher - working a second job to make ends meet.) Just last week he noticed that I show up at the grocery store on the same night. So like he said this evening, "It's Tuesday!"

But then again, I like to change it up to. My hair is rarely the same. I like to rearrange my furniture. And today I brought Mike to the grocery store. Well really, he volunteered since we haven't seen much of each other lately. (That was a shocker! Mike hates to grocery shop. As do I, but I don't have much choice in the matter.)

But he was a big help. He found new and exciting foods to buy, racking up our grocery bill. (Another reason I generally go by myself.) And he put all the food away. Nice.

*Update - Child A is still in my class. But only because the other school they tried to switch to only had room for one of the siblings. Child B is back from his suspension. He used the bathroom today (or tried to) 8 times. Each one was an emergency. Several were 1o minutes after the last one. I appreciate the use of modern facilities, but even I don't have to go that often.

*Confession - I only just watched the So You Can Think You Can Dance finale today. I was happy with the mention of Lady Gaga's hat fly.
