Today I headed to Costco, since that's what people do when they are about to run out of toilet paper. While I was waiting for my pictures to develop, I wandered the store and decided I would amuse myself by taking pictures and sharing some of my favorite things that (I think) you can only get there! I mean, of course you've got your basic bulk store items
but here are some unique ones.1. Dried mangoes. I absolutely love both mangoes and dried fruit, so who wouldn't love the two together! But honestly, these mangoes are really the only ones that are any good. I have had many a dried mango in my life, and most just don't make the cut.
2. Mango salsa. Another mango item! This salsa is a real treat when you don't want your traditional tomato salsa. I love to make sweet shrimp tacos and load them up with this mangoey goodness.
3, Peach Mango Jam. I guess you can tell that I truly do love mangoes. But they were out! Now that is a sad day. That also means I couldn't get a picture of it. It is seriously the best jam I have ever eaten, and I think homemade jam is about the greatest thing since sliced bread. And with sliced bread. It is so good that I have to have toast with my jam every morning for breakfast.
4. Apple strudel. In my mind, these are more dessert than breakfast pastry. Yum!
5. Dark Chocolate Acai Berries and their pomegranate counterpart. Pure heaven in my mouth. And I hate dark chocolate. I can't buy these often because Mike doesn't eat them and I don't have much self control.
6. Milk Chocolate Almonds. Another sweet tooth product. Another product I will eat by myself. Another item to make me feel bad about myself. You know, for eating too much.

oh man, I love those dark chocolate pomegranate things. I also can't buy them often for the same reason. they are SO goood and I try to convince myself that they are healthy.
I'll share with you when we get there.
I completely agree with the mango slices. They are
the best! Mike and I could probably eat a whole bag in a day or two.
My camera is a Nikkon D3100. I've had it since Christmas and am starting to learn to use it. I've enjoyed it so far.
