Day 32 - August 1, 2011
It's strange now that my post day and the date don't match up anymore. I will have to turn my brain back on to figure out which day I am on. Anyway... only two weeks of summer vacation left. Boo. Another reason I have to start turning my brain back on. There is still so much I want to do with my summer! I have a (mental) list, and I haven't even come close. Two and a half months fly by much quicker than you non teachers might think. But on the upside, my classroom is getting there! Unfortunately, I have little motivation to finish it. I did, however, drive down to put my vinyl up today. But that's it. Then I went home.

YES! the vent drove us crazy!! I had everyone-janitor and maintance look at several times up on the roof in the classroom, you name we searched for the culprit. Slowly, you get used to it. Wonder if any of my old stuff that I left behind is still there. Doubt it. Aww, now I'm gonna want to see pics of that room everyday.
There is still tons of your stuff in there. I cleaned a Alabama State History Unit out of the filing cabinet the other day (sorry, I didn't think I would need it.) In fact, I don't think any of the files have been touched since you left. All six drawers were full! I will take you on a virtual tour after it's all clean and finished, how does that sound?
Speaking of ventilation noise 2 things. You could request some sound damping material between the HVAC fan and your class, and I hope you didn't get rude noises while running past the construction workers.
