Today we decided to try out the Sounder, the commuter train, to head into Seattle for the day instead of driving.

We then caught the bus to the Seattle Center and went to the Pacific Science Center, which I haven't been too since I was much younger. Of course we loved all the exhibits, like the ones about your senses, the planets, and music, but our favorite exhibit was the butterflies. We walked into the habitat and there were butterflies flying everywhere! It was like the exhibit we paid extra for at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C., but this one was included with admission. The butterflies just loved Mom! Three landed on her, and two wandered around with us pretty much the entire time. One of the attendants had to flick one off her leg before we walked out.

One even perched in a precarious place.

Playing with the hermit crabs and touching the anemones was cool, too.

Here are some looks we DO NOT want to see in the future.

Is this what it feels like to be a little person?

We watched the coolest 3-D IMAX movie on all the repairs done on the Hubble telescope and the things we learned about space from its images. My dad even helped design one of the tools used in space to fix it in the early 90's.

And the last stop was the planetarium for a look at the stars. We found the constellations and planets we would be able to see in the sky tonight, if it wasn't overcast that is.

Then Dad picked us up on his way home from work so we didn't have to ride the train home. We could spend all day in there, and we did!
