The Final Countdown

The blog poll was correct. Zoe is having 5 puppies! (I also guessed 5, because her stomach is smaller than last time, and she had 7 that time.) Mike and I went to the vet to get the x-ray, and it was just so cute to see those little skulls and spines in the x-ray. She is pretty close to the puppy version of dilated, so the vet said we could expect puppies within the next 3 days, but as far as 7 days. Helpful, thanks. We don't both have work or anything. Dogs' temperatures drop in the 24 hours before they give birth, so we are hoping the temperature method will work for us. Wish us luck!
