Day 358: Tuesday, November 3

I love the library. I feel in the library the way a little kid feels in a candy store. Call me a nerd if you will, but reading is one thing I have been passionate about since I was young. I remember the first time I sat down and read an entire chapter book in one sitting. I was in third grade, and it was a Little House on the Prairie book On the Banks of Plum Creek. Boy was I proud of myself back then! Nowadays I can still read the occasional book in one sitting. These are usually young adult or children's books, but there are the few mindless reads of the several hour variety. After my recent trip to the Provo Library (which is one of the nicest libraries I have ever been to), I had one of these moments.

This is a GREAT summer beach read. I loved it! The only problem is that I read it on my couch in November and not on the beach in July. While wandering the library looking for some other good reads I stumbled upon this book:

I have no idea what it is about, but I had to check it out for the funny factor. We will see if I get to it after I finish all the other books I checked out. I found a new Tess Gerritsen book. I have been a big fan of her other mysteries, and I hope this one is as good as the others.

I have heard great things about Sarah Strohmeyer, so I hope this book lives up to her name. I guess we will see soon!

And now that you have seen part of my reading list (and that is not all I checked out of course), I will leave you and commence reading. Or teaching, whichever comes first. I don't know if I will be as good at book reviews as Everyday Reading, but I just might try.

P.S. To those who know Sara Matis, doesn't the girl who writes Everyday Reading look just like her?

Omyheck, she does! Anyways, I need to get reading! I am impressed that you can read as much as you do. I can barely find the time.

Didn't you LOVE "The Summer I Turned Pretty?"

I also really like Sarah Strohmeyer. Fluffy, but fun. Thanks for your nice comments about my blog!

I also feel like a kid in a candy store in the library.

I read the first two books in The Hunger Games series. Loved them. Didn't you suggest them awhile back. Love them.
