Day 354: Friday, October 30

These days without students are some of my favorite of the year. We get to chat, have a LONG lunch, and dress down. The dressing down part was very exciting to me this time because of my lovely eyes. I literally rolled out of bed, threw on some clothes, put my hair up in a ponytail, and drove to work. It was the first time almost everyone has seen my without make-up! Not something I would like to repeat, let me tell you. I felt naked all day. I did realize just how much I enjoy my job and faculty members. We can turn a short meeting into comedy hour. It makes me feel extremely thankful. The rest of the evening was spent chilling. Again. I feel like I have been saying that more frequently recently! Zane hung out with my while I was cleaning the kitchen. It just makes me laugh to see him sitting like a lump.
