I also told him it would have been much easier if he had just gone with me. After the fact, he told me he would have been happy with anything I came home with, but I knew better.

Day 347: Friday, October 23
This evening was the official arrival of my new boots! I know, life is pretty sad when the most exciting thing in my life is receiving online purchases in the mail. I wanted to get one of those sweater dresses to wear with my boots and my skinny jeans. The sad part is that I don't really have any friends to shop with. I tried to convince Mike to go with me, but he was a stinker and wouldn't go. Now, if you know Mike, you know that he is a little picky about the clothes I buy. They have to meet with his approval or they go back to the store. (This has happened on more than one occasion.) At least he has good taste. You women out there might be thinking, "Man, I would just tell him to shove it and buy what I want!" I had that attitude for the longest time in our marriage, and I have since learned that sometimes it is just easier not to fight it. After all, as I mentioned before, he does have good taste. So I headed to Kohl's by myself. And I proceeded to take a picture of every single outfit and send it to him.
I also told him it would have been much easier if he had just gone with me. After the fact, he told me he would have been happy with anything I came home with, but I knew better.

so is this the one you kept? I love Kohls. Could it be because I work there?
