So now, Dad, you can go fix Mom's outlets that don't work. Oh wait! Mom, you can fix your own! Power to women!

Day 257: Saturday, July 25
A couple of weeks ago my cell phone battery died while we were driving to Salt Lake. No big deal, I thought, I will just plug in my car charger. So I pulled out my iPod adapter from the power outlet in the car, but not all of it came out. There was this melted chunk left in the bottom. I guess it wasn't such a good idea to let it live continuously in the power outlet! Not only was my iPod adapter completely melted but the power outlet no longer worked. So, for my birthday all I wanted from my parents was to get my power source fixed and get a new adapter so I can actually play my iPod in the car again. (It was rough driving long distances with only the radio to listen to!) We checked the fuse and found out that it was blown. Easy enough. And with a Checker right next to Radio Shack I was finally all hooked up!

So now, Dad, you can go fix Mom's outlets that don't work. Oh wait! Mom, you can fix your own! Power to women!
