Day 234: Thursday, July 2

Today Mike and I went to Sandy to meet my grandma, brother, and sister-in-law for lunch. My brother had a job interview at 1o and Grandma had some stuff for me from my parents, so it was a good time to see everyone. It was about 11:20 and I was almost at the end of my 45 minute drive when my brother called me up. He told me that he forgot to tell me that they were a running a little late and that Grandma doesn't get home from genealogy until after noon. Nice. Thankfully I have a key. Although I wasn't too excited about spending a while alone in Grandma's house. I then asked him why they were running late. He told me he had canceled his job interview and they were still at their house. Hmmm, okay. Hopefully they wouldn't be too late. Well, Mike showed up, as did Grandma and we were still sitting there when they pulled in at 1:00. I had sat there for over an hour and a half, and we were all starving! Tensions were running a little high until everyone got some "yummy" Chuck-a-rama food in them. But I got to show off my new cute glitter toes!

I couldn't pick just one color so I picked 5 :-)

When the day was over, we had an enjoyable time, some Alaskan souviners, a box of books for my classroom, and tummy aches. Note to self: never eat at Chuck-a-rama again.
