Day 152: Saturday, April 11 - Day 3 New York City

Today we went on a Double Decker bus tour of Manhattan. There was only one problem - it was pouring rain! We braved the rain and bought an umbrella apiece. We were lucky enough to find a bus that had a covered top so we didn't have to sit in the rain. After several hours of touring we needed a bathroom break. In case you didn't know, bathrooms are hard to come by in Manhattan. We had to buy some McDonald's food in order to use their restroom. This is where we met our first colorful character. This man didn't receive his correct order and kept yelling, "You scared? Don't come to New York!" along with other colorful language. We laughed, hightailed it out of there, and stood at the bus stop waiting forever for another covered bus to show up!
Thankfully it showed up, we finished our freezing cold, but informative tour, and went to find some food. While in Carmine's, a family style Italian restaurant,

the weather decided to clear up in time for some exploring of Time's Square!
