Day 145: Saturday, April 4 - It's a Good Thing Shopping Isn't Always Like This!
After spending an hour and a half at Shoe Carnival, I came home with a pair of cute summer wedge sandals and a pair of Vans for walking around New York City and Washington D.C. (we leave on Thursday!!!). Mike absolutely hated the Vans. He has pretty good taste, but I didn't agree with him on this one. He had this certain image in his head of what he wanted, and nothing else would work. The only problem was that I didn't know what he wanted! I decided to head to Leslie's late, return the shoes, and go to the mall in search of the "right" shoes. I searched for three hours, tried on 15 pairs of shoes, purchased one pair, took back that same pair, and left the mall in a huff. If Mike won't go with me or even talk to me on the phone about the shoes, he can just freaking go buy them himself! At least I got one pair of cute shoes out of all that, even if they are not NYC walking shoes.

Those definately wouldn't be NYC walking shoes. Go old and comfy. The streets are dirty and crowded so you could get stepped on, thus ruining a cute new pair. Plus it looks like rain....bummer! See ya on thursday.
So you even went back to the mall and tried on more shoes? I'm sorry! Did you ever find any?
