In the spirit of the loving season, Mike and I decided to take some cookies to friends and relatives we haven't seen in awhile. Today's cookies went to our long lost friends Jed and Carrie. They disappeared off the face of the earth a couple of months ago, so we decided to see if they were still alive and kicking. Despite the advanced pregnancy for Carrie and the multiple surgeries of undetermined causes for Jed, they seemed to be faring well. Katelynn is as cute as a button, as always, and shared her love of Handy Manny's DVD with us. We had the joy of playing with the toolbox during that time and guessing the names of the tools. (In case you didn't know, their names have something to do with the action the tool makes.)
We missed the mark on most of them. I guessed "Screw" and "Driver" (that's what she said) for the flat head screwdriver, only to find out that it's Turner. I got "Dusty" the handsaw after many clever hints from Jed. Katelynn was also only too happy to show us her room and jump on her "big girl bed." Glad to see you all are alive and well!
