Day 105: Tuesday, February 24 - Pancake Tuesday

Today was my last class until June! Hooray! This is serious call for celebrating. While I was there I found out about Pancake Tuesday (also Shrove Tuesday, or Pancake Day, or Fat Tuesday.) This is a day where people have pancakes for dinner. (You might have guessed from its name. Duh.) It happens the day before Lent, or Ash Wednesday, in order to use up all the eggs and dairy products in the house. It also happens to be the first day of Mardi Gras, which is always on Fat Tuesday. In honor of this day, I decided to make pancakes for dinner. Actually, pancakes just sounded good. I will take any excuse to have me some nice carbs for dinner.


I put on the Mardi Gras shirt I got as a joke gift on Christmas and we partied away Mardi Gras style! (Well, maybe not true Mardi Gras style...)
