Day 67: Saturday, January 17 - Mmmm, Chocolate

My friend Janette and I woke up at the butt crack of dawn and left the safety bubble of Utah County to brave Salt Lake County today. We went to a training for our new job. People, I will now be judging local dance competitions! I am pretty excited. It will be a great second job and I will get to see some great dancing (hopefully) and choreography in the meantime. Since I am so low on the totem pole, I don't know how often I will get called to judge, but I hope at least once!

While we were up there we decided to head to Elizabeth's Bakery and Tea Shop and the London Market. (Janette's mom is English, so they always go there when they are in town.) While we ate some English delicacies (quiche and scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam), we admired the cool teapots along the wall. They have them in more shapes than you can imagine! Let's play I Spy. I spy a teapot shaped like: an English phone booth, a cupcake, a purse, a head of lettuce, a frog, a Scottie dog, and a zebra striped teapot. These among many others!

After we ate we headed over to the London Market.

Anything you ever wanted from England you can find here! From Jaffa cakes (Ethan's favorite)

and Mince pies,

to sugar mice
and Harry Potter wands.
I headed home happy with a belly full of food and a bag full of English chocolate.
