Day 66: Friday, January 16 - Teachers + No Kids = Nothing Done

Ahhh, Teacher Development Day. A day of dressing down and no kids! My favorite part of the day is that we have time to go out to lunch! Most places of business can go whenever they want, but we get barely a half hour to scarf down our food. So 3 days per year we get to eat out. We jammed about 13 people around this tiny table - that's why they make 'em round! We decided to try out this new restaurant in Payson. Won't go there again - definitely flavorless Mexican food.

My lunch came with a drink, which came with a gigantic straw! It was way too big for the cup. Maybe they should consider buying two different sizes of straws. In this picture you can see Keri and Diane becoming quite cozy. We all became much closer through this experience.

Nicole,
I love reading your blog for 2 reasons...
1. Since we work at the same school I know EXACTLY what you are talking about when you write about school things.
2. I can hear you talking when I read your posts. For example, my favorite line was, "Maybe they should consider buying two different sizes of straws." haha... it made me laugh.

Awww! I totally miss those lunch times! Too bad the restaurant was gross but at least you had good company! We will need to catch up soon. It seems like it has been forever since I have even seen you guys!
