Day 26 - 18 Days 'Til Christmas - Confession

I have to confess. I did not go to church today. If I were Catholic I would have to do penance. Thankfully, I am not Catholic, so I don't have to get out my rosary or say any Hail Mary's. My head was throbbing when I woke up - I would assume from the trauma my head received from a religious item yesterday. I also did not sleep last night from said wound. I kept rolling over and laying on precisely the right (or wrong, whichever you prefer) spot. Yes, it hurt. I also have this single, solitary hive that continually comes back. It is in quite the awkward position. I must find out which of my plethora of allergies provoke the dang thing. It itched all night! Instead of church, Mike cooked me breakfast (now is the moment to swoon) and I indulged myself with a hot bath and a great, if not sappy, romance novel. (Sometimes I get the urge to read an insensible, no-brainer book that still has plot and substance.) I also filled one of my other indulgences - cheesy Christmas movies. Yup, I am a sucker. I won't hide it. My DVR currently has about 6 waiting to be watched. Here are a few of my all time faves:

While You Were Sleeping was the first DVD I ever owned. The actual disc went missing for awhile, until I found it in the portable DVD player. I was watching while scrapbooking one day and never returned it to its rightful place. I thought that was a problem only Mike has. No wait, he just puts the movie into the case of the new movie he is pulling out so all the movies are in the wrong places. You have to follow the trail and connect the dots to bring order back to the chaos. (It's really rather comical.) So yes, with all the lack of new television episodes and the presents I have been putting off wrapping, you all know what I will be doing during my evenings after work, cooking dinner, shopping and the million other activities on my plate.
