Day 135 - November 13, 2011

I am reading this cute book called My Fairy Unfair Godmother.  If you like Janette Rallison, teen fantasy, or fairy godmothers granting wishes that don't go quite as planned, you will like this book.  It's just a cute, fun, funny read.  To me, the funniest part was at the beginning when the fairy godmother was explaining the wishes Tansy, the main character, could and could not make.  (Chrissy, the fairy godmother, failed out of school and is trying to get extra credit by taking on this case.  She is a bit of a spaz. That's what makes it so funny.)  So in the list of nonwishes it says:

"You can't wish for more wishes or for vague generalities like happiness that are impossible to grant.  Your wish has to be something specific enough that I can use my wand to make it happen.  Oh, and recently there has been a ban on inserting yourself into the Twilight series.  The Cullens are tired of different teenage girls pinging into their story every time they turn around."

How true is that?  What teenage girl nowadays wouldn't wish herself into Twilight?  Hilarious use of modern pop culture.

And today we learned that Zoe loves eggnog.  Hates soda, soda cans, and almost every other drink, but goes to town on the eggnog.  haha
