Day 58 - August 27, 2011

So my word of the day class is done. That's it for the titled posts. Until my next idea that is...watch for it on September 1.

We went boating with my aunt, uncle, cousins, and siblings again today. It truly was the best way for me to play after, if I must say, the longest week of my recent life. I am going to repeat myself from the last time I posted about boating, but it truly is one of the most relaxing things you can do. This time was much less crowded and the lake was lower so we got the best beachfront spot this time. The water was warmer, the sun was hotter (my red nose can attest to that), and the lake was calmer (for part of the day at least).

This had to be one of my favorite moments of the day (aside from eating tons of junk food, tubing, and chatting).

My cousin's little girl Oakley just started guzzling watermelon like it was nobody's business. In the end, picking it up with her fingers just wasn't cutting it. David put it perfectly. "She is just so adorable it almost makes me want children. Almost."

And now I am adding some more pictures for the benefit of my mother, who couldn't be there, but I know wishes she lived closer and could be at all these family things.
