Nest
The word nest surprised me today. When I think of it, I picture a hugely pregnant woman about to pop, frantically cleaning and organizing her house to prepare for the arrival of her baby. But I also know that a nest is your house, and my nest has been badly neglected recently. What with the visitors and the start of the school year, my nest could use a little love. I have, however, been focusing greatly on my other nest: my classroom. I am in there so often that it is my home away from home and I consider it my second nest. Monday is the first day of school and with my family being in town I have left the instant I could in order to enjoy their time here. (Look at me using a past word in my new entry!) Soooo, since I was not ready for that first day, I headed to my classroom on a Saturday to make it student worthy. It looks a little bare because not everything I ordered for the walls is in yet. I also plan on having the kids create some posters for the walls. But for now, I am pleased with the results.
I had forgotten that they turned off the air on the weekends. It was so flipping hot in there! After four hours, I was spent. I just needed some air conditioning!

It's weird to see your stuff in another room, but it looks good! Good luck with school starting!
At least it was quiet, did the facilities people get you any sound damping material for the HVAC system?
