Day 44 - August 13, 2011

An 8 AM class on a Saturday morning? Who would be crazy enough to do that? That would be my mother and I. We truly want to use our new cameras to the best of our abilities, so we were willing to wake up and be out the door early. On a Saturday. During a vacation. But we did get learn a lot about exposure and depth of focus. Now onto the best part - the actual picture taking part!

And since I missed my usual Saturday morning run, we went to Progressive Power Tumbling. It's a trampoline gym where you can practice your stunts and parkour tricks. Or other people can. Those of us without skills just look like fools with our single flips and belly flops. But you burn lots of calories cause it is a serious workout! In fact, sometimes we needed to rest while digging our way out of the foam pits.

You know, the ones we just dropped off into after climbing to the ceiling up the climbing wall. Or the ones you dive into off the trampolines.

But if you want to see the true masters, the ones that do the triple flips and gainers, you had better go there yourself. Mike, being the old man that he is, just watched. If you are in the category of "afraid of injuring oneself," you will still have a blast watching.
