After seeing Captain America (awesome!,) we convinced Brad to come with us to the local city fair. Rodeo days was your typical fair with food booths full of foods (like Navajo tacos),

jewelry you may or may not buy,

tropical birds to pet,
and snow cones the size of your head, complete with coconut cream and whipped cream!
The Friki Tiki Hut just gave Mike and I their last icee for free since they were shutting down for the night. When Brad saw how delicious ours was, he bought one too. He thought the large was the size we were eating, but he turned out to be wrong. His was about 4 times the size of ours.We went for a walk around the river after we were tired of the fair. I was a little surprised when this little guy hopped around us!

These are the days that make me glad it is summer. Mike has Friday's off, as do I obviously, and I love hanging out, enjoying the weather and the things summer has to offer. No thoughts of school (which should probably be closer to the front of my mind than it is), work, or obligations. Just fun and freedom.

It sounds like a fun, relaxing day. Those don't happen often enough!
What a great day. I had a 10 hour work day for my normal Friday off. At least I should have the Thursday Kiersten comes into town off in exchange for Friday.
