That's how I have been feeling lately. That doesn't mean nothing has happened (my mom came into town for a weekend, Kiersten found a wedding dress, I got a nasty cold ), but what do you do?! Move on and start blogging again I guess.
But onto a new subject. Several years ago my grandparents made a book for each of us recounting a bunch of family history and genealogical data, including stories of some of my ancestors. I loved reading it and learning more about the people who came before me. That's how I think of my blog and scrapbooks - as a record of my life. I am no longer a daily journal keeper, not since high school, but these two things are my way of recording my personal history. The other day I stumbled upon a website that talks a lot about scrapbooking your life as this kind of record. To not only scrapbook the major events (i.e. birthdays, vacations, and holidays) but to also scrapbook everyday life (cars, houses, mundane chores).
This year I am resolving to do a two page scrapbook layout for each month and include those little things that don't usually make the cut into the scrapbook. Some things include: current favorites like songs, books, tv shows, and movies, the current prices of gas, milk, a movie ticket, funny things people said or did, etc. Here are her journal ideas, in addition to some awesome Photoshop page layouts:

This is her "one month at a time" series, and I have just scrolled through her current January post and all her posts from last year.
I also love the "scrap YOUR story" series found here:

These blog posts give ideas on those little things like daily routines, your job, your childhood, you in a nutshell right now.
With all the resolutions going on, is recording your history one of them? If not, maybe she can give you some ideas to get started!

That's such a fantastic idea. We forget about all of those everyday events, but they make up more of who we are than the holidays and bigger events! You'll have to share your pages as you do them!
I agree... where are your pages!
