I will always remember one of my very first drives after I received my license. It wasn't the actual day I got my license, but the day after. I can remember the excitement I felt listening to whatever radio station I wanted and driving with the windows down, the sound of...my 14-year-old brother and 9-year-old sister in the car with me.
Because we were headed to the hospital to visit my parents and my brand-new, newborn baby sister.
Because yes, my 9-month-pregnant mother took me to take my driving test the day before she was set to have a c-section and give birth to my breech baby sister on her birthday and her doctor's birthday (we had a triple birthday party at the hospital.)
And because yes, I got my license that day so I could drive my siblings and myself to the hospital.
It was a fun day :-) No seriously, it was.

Good timing :)
I remember the day you took the test and all the people in the drivers' license office worried that there would be a baby born right there in their office...they also worried about whether or not you would pass the test and then they would have to deal with an upset, 9-month pregnant, hormonal, emotional woman! They did not dare fail you!
