I broke down and bought a smart phone. I have been due for a new phone for over six months now but have been having a hard time justifying the extra data plan cost. Let me just tell you, that its been only one day and I love it!
On Thursday Verizon came out with the iPhone, and some of you know that I was all set on waking us at one am and ordering one. The whole data thing just held me back and made me want to go into the actual store and compare phones. Well I was driving home from work no Friday and I noticed an official Verizon store off the freeway. I got pretty excited and then felt silly for never noticing it before (thankfully it has only been open for three days-now I don't feel so dumb). Anyway, I went into the very forty store last night and asked about a million questions about everything under the sun that has to do with phones and walked out with a Droid. Now I can't put it down. I would just like to know how to turn off the Pandora app without taking out the battery... or how to turn it off period.

Nice. I hadn't gotten a new phone in like 5 years. I got the Droid pro. Love it. Don't know how I lived without the internet on my phone for so long.
I love my Droid too! I don't know how I lived without email on my phone before, and I will never be able to go back!
To turn of Pandora just press the menu button when you have it open and it will bring up the menu where there will be a "quit" button. (At least that's how you do it on my Droid... What kind of Droid did you get?)
Yeah I finally figured it out! I didn't even know where the menu button was and it was midnight so everything is a little more dramatic when it is that late. I ended up getting the Droid Incredible - it was free!
