Snowed In

Remember how I complained yesterday about having to go to school these two days before Christmas? Well, school was canceled today. Due to snow. We have well over a foot and it hasn't stopped snowing in over 24 hours. I think this is some sort of record. I know school hasn't been canceled due to snow in the last several decades. I didn't even know how I was going to get out of the parking lot this morning, even with 4 wheel drive. Our neighbor came through with a bulldozer before the snow removal guys showed up, but it didn't matter! Well, not for me anyway. haha I am now cozied up in my pajamas with my hot chocolate, enjoying not having to leave the house for hours. I am trying not to think about the presents my kids won't find today in their stockings, or the singing we were supposed to do for the whole school today, or the presents my kids were supposed to take home that are still sitting on desks at school waiting for the wrapping to be finished. Other than that, I am enjoying myself.



Mike had to knock all the snow off the satellite dish to get it to work again.

Well, I have to pack for Seattle. But for now, enjoy the Nativity Story of the digital age.
