Why Does the Dentist's Chair Always Make You Have to Pee?

Seriously. Every time I go to the dentist I have to get up in the middle of the appointment and use the bathroom. It doesn't matter if I went literally right before I climbed in - I still have to pee. So today, while numb and full of cotton, I wobbled into the bathroom and almost ran into the door jamb. Because yes, today was the day for my second root canal. After 4 months of extreme hot and cold sensitivity and not being able to chew on the right side of my mouth, I decided the filling I had done on the last day of school in May needed to go. So I took the day off work and am heading to Walmart, because I hear that walking around and drinking lots of water will make the numbness disappear faster. Then I will take a Loritab for the pain. (And maybe, just maybe, it will make the ELL class I have later today a little more exciting...)

That does NOT sound like a fun day off. Or a day off, really. Sorry. I totally understand.
