Happy Birthday To Me!

I turned 28 this month. I loved having my family over for the entire day. We had breakfast at IHop and dinner at the Art City Trolley, but the majority of the day was spent replacing the fixtures in the bathroom. You know you are getting old when you want to spend your birthday installing towel bars and toilet paper holders!


Then later in the evening I invited a bunch of people over to eat my very delicious tuxedo mousse cake. A delicious chocolate and vanilla marble cake combined with layers of creamy vanilla and chocolate mousse - heaven!


I bought myself a new comforter for my bedroom. Ever since we slept on a fluffy white comforter at our hotel in Washington D.C. I have wanted one of my own. Mike had been hounding me for a while on what I wanted for my birthday, and one day, while walking through Bed, Bath and Beyond, I pointed to a bed and said, "I want that!" Not much rhyme or reason, but there you have it.
