Meanwhile back at the airport, a Denver plane was forced to land at our SLC airport due to a bomb threat that was written on a napkin and placed on the beverage cart. Since Mike also heads UPS security at the airport, he was called to keep the sharks (aka the media) away from the site.
He was pretty excited because he got to yell at one of the reporters from the news that he particularly doesn't like. The FBI showed up, there was some handcuffing, and people were stuck on the tarmac for around 4 hours. According to the news, we don't have any more information at this time and don't even know if any arrests were made. hahaThis morning when I went downstairs to feed the dogs I found Mike asleep on the couch. (He is usually at work when I wake up.) He gets to have a sick day too! But for the record, it isn't what I have! I did not give it to him. It was rather cold and wet during his outdoor security jaunt yesterday, so that's probably what happened. I personally feel worse today and Mike is home sick - so much for our Valentine's Day celebrations today!
