Thanksgiving Du Jour
In the spirit of the holiday, we gathered together with some extended family. My uncle and aunt, Kent and Karie, hosted Thanksgiving at their house with their kids Blakely and Derek and his wife. My other aunt, Laurene, and her kids Bailey and Aaron were there, along with my cousin Kyle, his wife Tasha, and their 6-month-old baby Annalese. Karie's parents and sister's family were also there making it a very large dinner party. We ate turkey, compared stories about our own family's respective food traditions, talked about crime shows, and of course talked New Moon. I made my famous rainbow jello (click here for a picture from last year) that is quickly becoming a tradition. (Our friend's Swedish exchange student declared the jello the weirdest thing he ate while in America. I think that deems it famous.) That brings our list of Thanksgiving traditions up to a grand total of 1. We are definitely thankful for many things in our lives, and we wanted to take at least one picture of our day, since we forgot to take some while we were there. Our photo shoot was interesting, to say the least. So enjoy the photo montage of Mike and his goofy looks.
