Day 364: Monday, November 9

On Friday I was asked to make dinner for today for a couple that just had a baby. I got a great recipe from Britney that required you to make this pasta casserole where you eat half now and freeze the other half for later. I thought it would be a perfect meal to take to another family. Instead of freezing the other half I could just give it away. Easy right? I got the food all put together, ready for them to stick in the oven when they were ready to eat. Looks good right?
I arrived at their doorstep (they only live four houses down from me) and when the husband answered the door I realized something I had forgotten: he is full blown Italian, from Italy, and I had made them Italian food. Is that like making Mexican food for Hispanics or fried chicken for black people?

Glad you liked the recipe! We really liked it and I will hopefully be making it again soon. That is a great one to make for a meal you have to give away. I will have to remember to do that one! I'm sure they loved it, even if he makes "real" Italian food! Ha Ha!

I'm part German and you can make me German pancake. Come on home and make it and I won't be insulted in the slightest!
