Day 341: Saturday, October 17

Today Mike and I awoke early (gasp!) and went out for a fun filled morning. The mall, library, Cafe Rio - some of those Provo things we don't get to all the time. However, while we were at the mall Mike started coming down with something. I had woken up feeling a little off, but it wasn't enough to keep me down. So on our fun Saturday morning out, the mall was our last stop. Then it was home for a nap and some hot, leftover stew from dinner last night. I hung out for a bit and finished some TV and chores I hadn't gotten done in the morning. I also wanted to get back to Target because I noticed that one of the blender cups was broken and I wanted a new one! On my way to Target I started going downhill. I walked through Target, not feeling bad, but not feeling great either. To make matters worse, at the checkout counter I realized that I forgot my wallet. I left it by the computer after buying some stuff online! Thankfully they take checks, but I hoped they wouldn't need my driver's license number. Of course they did! The girl working was pretty young and nice enough to let me call Mike and have him read it to me over the phone, so I didn't have to make him drive up and bring me my wallet. Just one sign of sickness getting to my brain. No, we don't have the swine flu, but we do have similar, but milder, symptoms. It must just be a mild cold or flu. We spent the rest of the night just laying around the house watching movies. The Proposal was very funny, and even Mike laughed at some of the parts he happened to see. I have a new appreciation for Ryan Reynolds (totally hot).

One exciting thing happened though. I got the mail and there was my official diploma! Now it is placed in its official diploma case and left to sit, in the file cabinet next to my bachelor's degree diploma case, and never to be looked at for, I am sure, a very long time.

Oh no, I'm sorry you are both feeling sick! I hope it passes quickly! Definitely rest up in the meantime!
