Day 318: Thursday, September 24

Ah, farm field day. Thankfully, there wasn't a repeat of Poopfest 2008, but it also wasn't as funny as that day. We had an uneventful ride there (even if we were 10 minutes late due to road construction) and an enjoyable time at the farm where Pat the Pumpkin regaled us with her knowledge of vegetables.

(I love that this year Pat is a girl and last year Pat was a boy. The joys of gender neutral names.)
The living necklaces came at a perfect time because I am currently teaching life cycles and now we can chart the seed growth.

The kids were having fun!

But were the parents???

Thankfully one of the parents knew how to get to the park where we were eating for lunch because the bus drivers didn't know how to get there! Isn't that what bus drivers are for? And we made it back just in time for music. That was for the teachers to have a breather. Field trips are tiring, even when you don't do anything but stand there and watch!
