I have been doing a lot of computer work recently. Since I keep my laptop in the guest bedroom it gives me much time to contemplate the decorations in the room, or really lack thereof. The comforter is a cute purple and black print, but other than that it is just a hodgepodge of random stuff. Now that the bookcases are gone there isn't quite as much, but it puts me in a decorating/organizational kind of a mood. The walls are plain white (my painting bug hasn't hit this room yet) and there are two things on the wall: a wedding picture of us, and this:
One of my students gave it to me five years ago and I thought it was so cute then, but now it just looks strangely out of the ordinary. It is out of remembrance of my dance years, but I don't know. I probably won't really do anything with the room after all, so here I sit, staring at it, as I will probably will in the time to come.
