Day 292: Saturday, August 29

Ahh, the pleasures of sleeping in on a Saturday morning. But then as soon as I woke up I remembered that our neighborhood was having a yard sale and I really wanted to sell our extra bookshelves. Mike ran out to play frisbee golf at Solitude Ski resort, so my friend Diana was kind enough to help me lug the bookshelves across the way. I didn't end up selling them, but I did end up giving them away for free! haha The entire point was to get rid of them so I didn't have to later. And actually, the large shelf wasn't even taken by a person at the yard sale. I called this guy who was hanging around looking for leftover stuff from local yard sales and he came and picked it up. I thought I had stayed pretty much in the shade the entire morning, but of course I am still sunburned. I now have a lovely farmers tan, of which I had not had before today.

Here are Mike and his friend Justin riding the ski lift to the frisbee golf course. Boy was that an adventure! It was a tough, mountainous course.

Later that evening I really needed a break and to get out of the house. Janette and I went to eat at Zupa's, one of my all time favorite restaurants, and shop at the mall. When we saw the pleather leggings, we just had to try them on with some other sequined clubbing gear and model down the "runway" of the Nordstrom's dressing rooms. That was a laugh I really needed.

Yeah, along with my farmers tan and the lighting, the picture was terrible!
