Day 248: Thursday, July 16

Well, we finally started doing home visits of all the singles in our ward. So we started walking, armed with our highlighted map of the homes in the ward. It is very efficient, especially divided into three quadrants. It makes it seem less stressful that way.

We visited all the homes in the first quadrant. However, only two people actually answered the door. The first was a girl that might actually be a good reactivation prospect. The second was an old Mexican dude that said the brothers never lived there. So, we stopped in at the home of the relief society president to get some more information on her neighbors. It turns out we had the wrong street number. It also turns out that we have so much in common with her and her husband. We ended up staying there until after midnight just listening to music and talking about all the crap that is going on in our neighborhood right now. We now have a new friends in the ward, bringing the total up to 4 couples. Yay! (Seriously, we don't have a very friendly ward.)
