Since the end of the year is hard to fill, I got this for my kids to watch. The other teachers, remembering their own love of the show, brought their kids, too. The kids were absolutely enthralled! I didn't realize just how much they would get into the show. Each episode is broken into 4 half-hour parts, which is perfect for this age group. Here is a picture of the mesmerized kids. Day 181: Monday, May 11 - Ghostwriter
A flashback to one of my favorite television shows - Ghostwriter. (We are only on episode 1, so we haven't met all the kids yet. I forgot about the other two.)

Each day they are making predictions about who they think THABTO is and who is stealing the backpacks. I love hearing them read all of Ghostwriter's messages outloud and laughing at the things he writes. C. said to me today, "You just got this because it is about reading and writing!" Well, the accusation is not quite true, but at least there is a literary connection to the movie watching!

So which one of these jokers do you think looks like Alex? You are such a fun teacher to do stuff like this!
We're on the 8th one and my kids are still begging to watch every day! Glad it worked for your group!! I wonder how long it's been since anyone checked these out of the IMC.
Heidi, you were definitely my inspiration! The kids would love to watch all of them but there is just not enough time!
