Day 177: Wednesday, May 6 - Feeling down? Saddle up. It is the only cure.

I wasn't able to attend the Lipizzaner Stallions show with my brother and sister-in-law, so Janette, Olivia, and I did the next best thing - we went and saw our bishop's horses across the street. They all walked right up to the fence so we could pet them. Amy, the horse you see in the picture, started nibbling on my fingers, then she actually bit my finger! I guess she was looking for food, so we put some grass on our hand. The three youngest kids came out with watermelon rinds to feed to the horses. Liv fed them, but I think the bite made her a little nervous.
